2021 Wedding Floral Trends

1. Circular Arches & Statement Altar Pieces

Large scale installations like eternity arches and floral pillars make for a beautiful setting to say “I do.” More couples are choosing to focus their attention on this statement piece as it’s featured in every photo from walking down the aisle, to your first kiss.

2. Blending Rustic & Elegant Elements for a Bohemian Touch

Have fun with more playful blooms and a juxtaposition of textures when you feature pampas grass, ferns and eucalyptus in your floral decor. Plus, dried flowers and greenery can serve as meaningful keepsakes for the bride & groom and wedding guests alike.

3. Mixing Up Tradition with Asymmetry

Embrace your venue and incorporate more asymmetrical heights into your decor. Perfectly imperfect arrangements create a whimsical, lively look that is stylish, planned and lighthearted. Use floral elements like blooming branches to create a dynamic look that will wow your guests.

4. Expressive, Feminine Color Palettes

An understated, elegant color palette is the perfect way to elicit a visually captivating space. Select colors that feel representative of your personal style and add those to a beautiful base of white florals and greens.

Tips for a Perfect Day

1. Work with your florist to find flowers of the season

Our floral designers are truly experts and are here to make your vision come true. Unfortunately, not all flowers are available all year round. If some of your favorite blooms won’t be in season in time for your big day, don’t worry - a lot of flowers have look-alike options that will work just as well! We’ll be happy to find you the flowers of your dreams.

2. Establish a color scheme that you love

The more specific you are with a color scheme, the better and we can’t stress enough how much we love working off of visual inspiration. For example, a swatch of your bridesmaid dress fabric is a great jumping-off point. We can then work together to find the perfect pop of color to enhance your arrangements even further!

3. Don’t be afraid to try something new!

We absolutely love when you come to us with ideas and inspiration, but don’t forget to leave some creativity up to your designer because they are the expert. We might know of the perfect flower for your bouquet or a fun, accent piece for your ceremony that you hadn't thought of. It’s our job to stay ahead of the trends and we love sharing all of our knowledge with each of our clients.

4. Let us worry about the details

We want you to be as involved in the planning as you’d like, but when it comes to the big day, that’s our time to step up and make it your best day ever. From delivery to tear down, we are here to help! Need to transport your flowers from the ceremony to the reception? We’ve got you covered. Need help securing the groomsmen’s boutonnieres? Let us step in. No detail will go unnoticed!

5. Start planning early

Flowers are a major part of your big day and we want to have plenty of time to create exactly what you’re looking for. Make sure to note: before you book your consultation, we do suggest having your wedding date, venue and approximate guest count locked in for the most productive conversation. Booking anywhere from six to eight months out is usually ideal. For more information, contact us here. We can’t wait to work with you!
