Cecilia Zea
Cecilia is originally from Texas and moved to Wisconsin to pursue a floral internship and career through the American Floral Endowment in 2015 just before graduating college. Her mother owned a small business decorating weddings and parties with arches and silk flowers. Wanting to help her mother's business succeed, she took an elective class on the introduction of floral design in high school and fell completely in love with the floral industry. She started a small entrepreneurship in high school selling boutonnieres and corsages to fellow classmates for prom. This was just a small taste of the industry and she knew she had to have more! Cecilia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Plant and Soil Science with an emphasis in landscape design. Her passion for floral stretches past just flowers. She truly loves interacting with all of her customers on the phone and face to face to create a truly one-of-a-kind arrangement for that special someone. Cecilia has been working and growing with the floral industry for the past 8 years and joined the Sendik's family in August after being laid-off due to Covid-19. She says that Sendik's is more than just a company. They are family and have made the transition into a new role such a great experience - even during a global pandemic.
