About Abbey, Our Expert Wedding Consultant
Born and raised in Port Washington, Wisconsin, Abbey has always had a passion for design and decorating. While pursuing an art degree in college, she worked in the floral department at Sendik’s in Whitefish Bay and immediately fell in love with floral design and collaborating with customers to create and plan flowers for events. Abbey recently returned to Sendik’s, after working for a hospitality group for four years, with hundreds of weddings and corporate events under her belt. She loves to brainstorm, plan and execute beautiful designs by incorporating colors and textures to create something truly unique. She believes there are no rules when it comes to wedding florals - color, shape and design is all up to you! Abbey loves to connect with her clients’ larger vision and help every step of the way. Some of her current favorite trends include jewel tones, unique textures, fabulous head table runners, a sprig of rosemary in your guests’ napkins, and the perfect classic white and green floral wedding - simplicity that takes your breath away! When she’s not creating, you can find Abbey travelling with her other half Ryan, working in her garden or spending time with friends, family and her two beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
